I was always the fat sister/daughter/friend, it hurt so much, and while decades later I find irony in seeing body change in those that labelled me so long ago, I'd still like to ankle tap a few! Don't be judged, and don't judge yourself, Daisy, you know you're a winner.

My son referred to me the other day as having the body of a potato in a bikini and I finally…. Didn’t care? I mean I cared that it was a very good funny description. So I am hopeful it’s gets easier with age but 25 I remember as being really loud with the noise. I hope it eases xx

Potato is excellent - complex carb for a complex female character - sounds like a great essay xx and thank you!

Aww I loved this! Insanely relatable (chicken skin is way too real)

You are gorgeous and the most beautiful way to wear any swimwear is with confidence and self acceptance (which, believe it or not, is the gateway drug to self love). Practice noticing beautiful/sexy things about others on the tube etc and it’ll be easier to appreciate them in yourself. It worked for me (admittedly in my 30s, but it takes practice!) xx

I wear an all in one speedo and swimming makes me feel less insane - I also wear a ton of fake tan - xx
